Days before the third day of the University of the Philippines—Los Banos’ February Fair, Paglaum released on their Facebook page the line-up of artists who will perform this year.
Pop-alternative bands Cup of Joe and The Ridleys, pop punk band Andrøid-18, and BLKD x Calix will headline the event. Also present to rock the UPLB stage are Takuyan, Tubaw, Kolaris, Talahib People’s Music, and Katha Na.
Music is just an element of the program; representatives from Bayan-Timog Katagalugan, Kasama-Timog Katagalugan, Pamalakaya Cavite, Dumagat Sierra Madre, Kalikasan-Southern Tagalog, Protect Sierra Madre, LFS UPLB, Kadamay-Southern Tagalog, Starter Piston, Pamantik KMU, and Anakbayan-Southern Tagalog are there to address issues about the rights of our laborers, a better education system, saying ‘no’ to Jeepney phaseout, and true land reform.
Admission is FREE for fair-goers who wish to experience Paglaum 2024.
